Adult Protective Services (APS) is part of the Division of Licensing & Protection, one of the principal governmental divisions mandated by Vermont law to investigate reports of abuse, neglect and exploitation of vulnerable adults. The division’s statutory responsibility is detailed in Title 33 of the Vermont Statutes, and the following documents may be utilized to implement protective sevices for vulnerable adults.
